Kleinleinungen is a district of the municipality of Südharz in the district of Mansfeld-Südharz in Saxony-Anhalt .
Geographical location
Kleinleinungen is located in the southern Harz on the road between Wickerode and Drebsdorf an der Leine .
history
Kleinleinungen belonged to the property of the Counts of Stolberg and was part of the Questenberg office in the Stolberg-Roßla county . Kleinleinungen was under the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Saxony until 1815 and then came to the Merseburg administrative district of the Prussian province of Saxony .
In 1819 there were 192 inhabitants in 42 houses in Kleinleinungen.
From 1952 to 1990 Kleinleinungen belonged to East Germany - Halle Region .
On January 1, 1970 Drebsdorf was incorporated into the community of Kleinleinungen. Together with small lines, Drebsdorf came to large lines on April 1, 1974. Both Kleinleinungen and Drebsdorf became independent municipalities again when they were spun off from Großleinungen on April 1, 1990.
On January 1, 2010, the municipalities of Kleinleinungen, Bennungen , Breitenstein , Breitungen , Dietersdorf , Drebsdorf , Hainrode , Hayn (Harz) , Questenberg , Roßla , Rottleberode , Schwenda and Uftrungen merged to form the new municipality of Südharz. At the same time the administrative community Roßla-Südharz , to which Kleinleinungen belonged, was dissolved.
