The 2018/19 indoor hockey Bundesliga season for women began on December 1, 2018. The double finals for women and men took place on January 26 and 27, 2019 in the innogy sports hall in Mülheim an der Ruhr .

The champions of the regional leagues north, east, south and west are promoted to the Bundesliga. If this is a second team, the right of promotion goes to the next team.

The newcomers for the 2019/20 season are: In the north, Eintracht Braunschweig , in the south, the Bietigheimer HTC , in the west, the Crefelder HTC and in the east, the Osternienburger HC .
