Hans-Ulrich Rosemann (born March 14, 1904 in Bonn , † April 16, 2006 in Marburg ) was a German physiologist and university professor .

Life

Family and education

The Evangelical baptized, born in Bonn Hans-Ulrich Rosemann, son of full professor of physiology at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster Dr. med. et phil. hc Rudolf Rosemann (1870-1943) and his wife, Paula, born Schneider, turned to the High School to study medicine at the Westphalian Wilhelms University, the University of Tübingen , the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and the University of Marburg to, there took place in 1929 his doctorate Dr. med. Hans-Ulrich Rosemann married Margret, born Achilles, in 1931. Three children named Irmgard, Werner and Günther came from this connection. Hans-Ulrich Rosemann died in April 2006 at the old age of 102 in Marburg.

He was the younger brother of the extraordinary professor for performing geometry and practical mathematics at the Technical University of Hanover , Walther Rosemann (1899–1971), as well as the full professor for art history at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen , Heinz Rudolf Rosemann (1900–1977 ).

Professional career

After completing his studies, Hans-Ulrich Rosemann took up an assistant position at the Physiological Institute of the Philipps University of Marburg. The subsequently to the senior assistant transported habilitated in 1935 as a lecturer for the subject physiology. In 1942 he was appointed adjunct professor, in 1958 as a scientific council , in 1966 as head of department, and in 1969 he was retired.
