Hans Anders "Hasse" Bergh (born June 6, 1970 in Sundsvall ) is a former Swedish football player . The midfielder , who played for five different clubs in the Allsvenskan , played two caps for Sweden in 1998 . In the same year he won the championship title and the national cup - with two different teams.

Career

Bergh comes from the youth of IFK Sundsvall , for whom he made his debut in the competition team in the late 1980s. With the club he played in the second and third division before moving to first division promoted Hammarby IF in 1994 . For the club he played two seasons in the Allsvenskan, where he played 44 championship games. After relegation at the end of the 1995 season as penultimate in the table, he joined the first division competitor Degerfors IF . Even with this he was relegated from the top division in his second season, but he had played his way into the national team. In the 1-0 defeat against the US selection by a goal by Roy Wegerle on January 24, 1998 he made his debut in the national team, five days later he came as a substitute for Yksel Osmanovski in the 0-0 draw against Jamaica for his second Selection game.

Bergh stayed in the Allsvenskan again, this time moving to Helsingborgs IF . There, however, he did not get beyond the role of the supplementary player. The team reached the final of the national cup 1997/98 , both in the 1-1 draw in the first leg and in the second leg ultimately won by penalty shoot-out - goalkeeper Sven Andersson saved all the penalties of the players of his ex-club Örgryte IS - he came shortly before the end the regular playing time as a substitute. Therefore, he switched to league rivals AIK in the summer . Ironically, he made his debut there in a 1-0 away win against his former club with a goal from Anders Limpar . After his move, AIK did not lose a game, there was a three-way battle for the title between AIK, Helsingborgs IF and Hammarby IF. In eleven games, including seven wins, he contributed to a two-point lead over Helsingborgs IF and thus to the championship title at the end of the 1998 season . The following season was overshadowed by injuries, so that the qualification for the group stage of the 1999/2000 UEFA Champions League was accomplished without his intervention and he only there in the 2-1 home defeat against FC Barcelona - in the intermittent 1-0 lead by Nebojša Novaković he was substituted on for Daniel Tjernström just under 20 minutes before the end , and the Catalans turned the game around with two goals in the final minutes - they were able to participate. When he won the national cup in 1998/99 in the finals against IFK Gothenburg , he was also used as a substitute only in the second leg. After he had only played eleven league games in the 2000 season , the signs were goodbye at the end of the season when the contract expired.

Bergh returned to his birthplace and joined the GIF Sundsvall , which played in the Allsvenskan . Here he made sure that the club was now able to establish itself in the top division and played 99 championship games in five years. In 2006 he returned to IFK Sundsvall for one season, then ended his career at IFK Timrå .
