Hans Bundtzen

Hans Bundtzen (born May 30, 1883 in Langstedt ; † June 13, 1948 there ) was a German farmer and politician ( DNVP , later CDU ).

From 1946 to 1947 he was Minister for Food, Agriculture and Forestry in Schleswig-Holstein .

Life and work

Hans Bundtzen was a farmer in Langstedt. During the Nazi era , he was taken into “ protective custody ” twice .

Hans Bundtzen had been married since 1946.

Political party

During the time of the Weimar Republic , Bundtzen was a member of the DNVP, from which he later left. 1945 belonged to the co-founders of the "Christian Democratic Party" in the Schleswig district , which later became the local district association of the CDU.

MP

Bundtzen was a member of the Prussian Landtag from 1924 to 1932 . He left the DNVP parliamentary group on August 9, 1930, was initially non-attached and became a member of the German parliamentary group on October 15, 1930. The German parliamentary group was a parliamentary working group that was formed on June 8, 1928 from the members of the CNBL , the DHP , the Völkisch-Nationalen Block and the Reichspartei für Volksrecht und Aufwertung . After the end of the war he belonged to the second appointed (1946/47) and first elected state parliament of Schleswig-Holstein until his death. Bundtzen entered the state parliament in 1947 as a directly elected member of the Schleswig-Nord constituency .

Public offices

From November 23, 1946 to April 29, 1947, Bundtzen was a member of the state government of Schleswig-Holstein headed by Prime Minister Theodor Steltzer as Minister of Food, Agriculture and Forestry .
