Hans Maurer (politician, 1933)

Hans Maurer (born May 3, 1933 in Neuendettelsau ) is a German politician ( CSU ) and was the Bavarian State Minister for Food, Agriculture and Forests from 1990 to 1993 .

Life

Hans Maurer was born the son of a farmer. Before his political career, he worked as a secondary school teacher. From 1994 to 2004 he was 1st chairman of the Agricultural Construction Working Group .

From January 1, 1999 to December 31, 2010, he held the position of Chairman of the Board of Management of the Bavarian State Foundation in Munich.

Political party

  • From 1970, Hans Maurer was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament for 28 years and was elected deputy parliamentary group leader of the CSU in 1984.

Public offices

  • In 1986 he was appointed State Secretary in the Bavarian State Ministry for Education and Culture. In 1987 he moved to the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Forestry.
  • In the legislative period from 1990 to 1993 , Hans Maurer was Bavarian State Minister for Food, Agriculture and Forests.
