Hýskov (German Hiskau ) is a municipality in the Středočeský kraj region ( Czech Republic ). Due to its location in the valley of the Berounka River , the place is a destination for hikers and cyclists. Hýskov is located 37 kilometers southwest of Prague . The Děd (492 m) rises to the south .
history
According to archaeological finds, the area was already inhabited by the Celts . In 1088 the place not far from Beraun is mentioned in the documents of the chapter of Vyšehrad . The so-called Königsweg von Karlstein and Pürglitz led through the village .
