Chaloupky (German Chaloupek ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . The village is located five kilometers southwest of Hořovice and belongs to the Okres Beroun .
geography
Chaloupky is located on the northern edge of the Brdywald . Neighboring towns are Ptákov, Komárov , Kocanda, Mrtník and Hvozdec in the north, Neřežín and the Brdy military training area with the settlement of Hrachoviště in the east, Malá Víska in the south, Kvaň, Kozojedy and Zaječov in the southwest and Kleštěnice and Jivina in the west.
The Valdek castle ruins are located southeast of the village on the site of the military training area.
history
The first written mention of the settlement Chalupy pod Skalou , built by German miners and woodcutters, took place in 1648.

The municipality Chaloupky consists of the districts Chaloupky ( Chaloupek ) and Neřežín ( Nerscheschin ). Basic settlement units are Chaloupky, Kocanda, Neřežín and Ptákov.
