Hostomice (German Hostomitz ) is a city with 1,570 inhabitants (December 31, 2007) in the Czech Republic . It is 361 m above sea level. M. in a wide valley between Příbram and Beroun am Brdywald .
history
The oldest mention of the place comes from May 1343, when the residents were granted privileges. Later the place was given to the Lords of Karlstein by Charles IV and at the same time was given the title of "little town protected by the king". 1738 Hostomice was by Charles VI . appointed city.
City structure
The city of Hostomice consists of the districts Bezdědice ( Besdieditz ), Hostomice ( Hostomitz ), Lštěň ( Elschtein ) and Radouš ( Radausch ). Hostomice is divided into the cadastral districts of Bezdědice u Hostomic, Hostomice pod Brdy and Radouš. Basic settlement units are Bezdědice, Hostomice, Lštěň, Radouš and Zátor.
