Bavoryně (German Baborin ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located two kilometers southwest of Zdice and belongs to the Okres Beroun .

geography

Bavoryně is located at the confluence of the Stroupinský potok in the Červený potok in the valley between the Pürglitzer Bergland and the Brdy . The route of the D 5 motorway runs north of the village, and the village is located directly at exit 28 Bavoryně . To the east, Bavoryně is bypassed by the railway between Beroun and Rokycany , the nearest station of which is in Stašov .

Neighboring towns are Knížkovice in the north, Zdice in the northeast, Chodouň in the east, Libomyšl in the southeast, Stašov in the south, Chlustina in the southeast and Hředle in the northeast.

history

Bavoryně was first mentioned in a document in 1088, when Vratislav II left the village to the Prague Chapter . Tobias von Bechin gave the village in 1294 in the course of an exchange to Wenceslaus II , who gave it to the royal city of Beroun in 1302 .

In 1456 Jan Dobrouk of Litomyšl owned the village. Until 1533 it belonged to Peter von Wamberg, then Karl von Svárov. In 1544 Nikolaus von Říčany bought Bavoryně, followed by Jan Lobkowicz . Later the village belonged to the Chodouň domain . After the abolition of patrimonial in 1848, Bavoryně became a part of Zdice and in 1889 it became independent. In 1922, as a countermeasure to the economic crisis, the railroad from Prague to Pilsen was expanded to two tracks. In 1933 the Červený potok was regulated.

After the Second World War, the place lost 91 of its inhabitants by 1948, who moved to the border areas depopulated by the displacement . In 1954 the steel bridge over the Červený potok was built. In 1975 Bavoryně was incorporated into Zdice. In 1985, construction began to relocate the road and the railway bridge for the construction of the Prague-Bavoryně motorway. Six years later, construction of the Bavoryně– Rozvadov section began. On June 25, 1993 a flood hit the village.
