action

Jens Lienhart is an economics student at the University of St. Gallen , he is researching his diploma thesis on the Zug-based oil trading company Refine Trading, which is owned by a Ukrainian entrepreneur. Beatrice, a Greenpeace activist, tells Jens that the oil trading company has its cargo transported by tankers in need of rehabilitation, which are the cause of several oil spills. Greenpeace is putting him under pressure to go public with the spicy facts. But his father is also a member of the company and he is running for the office of President of the National Council. Lienhart discovers the machinations and informs his father, but after a long argument he gets a slap in the face. What Jens does not know, the employee Strohm shadows him and Beatrice with bugs. In the end there is a chase in which Strohm takes Beatrice's car (with her as an inmate) off the street. Shortly afterwards, Jens von Strohm is also followed. Beatrice survived the accident and was able to save herself to a campsite, where Jens found her. Meanwhile, the Russian mafia sends one of its people to Switzerland. He breaks into Hermann Lienhart's house, just as Hermann, Jens and Beatrice are in the house. After a few fights, the three manage to tame the attacker, he is picked up by a special unit.

As a consequence of the events, Hermann Lienhart, who is being investigated for aiding and abetting murder, is withdrawing his candidacy for President of the National Council.
