Hull and drive
The hull of a Hayabusa- class speedboat is 50.1 meters long, 8.4 meters wide and has a draft of 1.7 meters with a displacement of 200 tons . The drive ( COGAG drive ) is provided by three General Electric LM500-G07 gas turbines, which were produced under license by IHI Corporation . The output of 16,200 PS (11,915 kW ) is delivered by three waves to a water jet nozzle each and enables a top speed of 44 knots (81 km / h ).
Armament
The armament consists of a 76 mm gun in caliber length 62 ( 76/62 Compact ) from Oto Melara on the foredeck , two body-guided machine guns in caliber 12.7 mm behind the bridge and two double starters for Type-90 SSM-1B - Anti-ship missiles on the quarterdeck .
