Head Not Found is a Norwegian independent label that specializes in black metal and other metal genres.
history
The label was founded in 1992 - with the beginning of the second black metal wave - by Metalion , who had been known in the Norwegian metal scene as the publisher of Slayer fanzines since the mid-1980s . Voices of Wonder (now Voices Music & Entertainment AS ) took over distribution . After several years and recurring problems with Voices of Wonder, Metalion stopped working at Head Not Found. The label was continued without him, but has only been used sporadically by the parent company VME since the turn of the millennium.
