Heidberg ( Low German Heidbarg ) is a district of the Lilienthal community in the Osterholz district in Lower Saxony .

Geography and transport links

The district is located east of the core town of Lilienthal, not far from the south-west border with Bremen .

On the western edge leads the country road L 154 over, the L 133 runs west.

The 772 hectare large nature reserve Fischerhuder Wümmeniederung is south.

history

Heidberg was built in the period from 1700 to 1766 as part of the moor colonization . In 1789, it is stated that 130 residents, including 83 children, lived in 20 houses. Heidberg was incorporated into Lilienthal in 1974.
