Holy window in Josselin

The window of saints in the Catholic parish church of Notre-Dame-du-Roncier in Josselin , a French commune in the Morbihan department in the Brittany region , was created around 1460. The stained glass window was added to the list of architectural monuments in France as Monument historique in 1912 .

The window on the south side of the nave was made by an unknown workshop. It shows saints , a widespread pictorial motif in Christian art of the Middle Ages and early modern times.

The window was restored in the second half of the 19th century and supplemented by Ferdinand Hucher in the glass painting workshop of the Carmelites of Le Mans .

In addition to the saint window, two other windows from the Renaissance period have been preserved in the church (see navigation bar).
