Heinrich Daniel Städel

Heinrich Daniel Städel (born January 5, 1771 in Strasbourg , † August 16, 1857 in Mainz ) was a Hessian banker and politician and member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Heinrich Daniel Städel was the son of the granary supervisor Daniel Bernhard Städel and his wife Marguerite Salomé, nee Schatz. Städel, who was initially Protestant and then converted to Catholicism, married Sara, née Saltzmann. He was a wholesaler and banker in Mainz. In 1833 he was police commissioner there and in 1835 became vice president of the Mainz Chamber of Commerce .

From 1841 to 1842 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency of the city of Mainz .
