Friedrich Heinrich Ferdinand Leopold von Forcade de Biaix (born December 19, 1747 in Berlin , † October 12, 1808 at Gut Schleibitz in the Duchy of Oels ) was a Prussian lieutenant colonel .

Life

origin

Heinrich Leopold came from a noble Huguenot family . His parents were the Prussian Lieutenant General Friedrich Wilhelm Quirin von Forcade de Biaix (1699–1765) and Marie de Montolieu, Baroness de St.-Hippolyte (1709–1767), daughter of the Prussian Major General Louis de Montolieu .

career

Following the recognizable military tradition of his family, he joined his father's regiment in 1761 . In 1774 he was transferred to Infantry Regiment No. 28 in Brieg . On March 19, 1788 he received the fusilier battalion No. 15 as a major and then took over the fusilier battalion No. 10 on November 13, 1791. He took part in the first coalition on the Rhine and received the order Pour in September 1792 le Mérite . Already in 1793 he had become invalids his farewell take. Nevertheless, in recognition of his services in his active time, King Friedrich Wilhelm III. 1798 received the character of a lieutenant colonel.

After the death of his father, he was succeeded by Drost von Neuenrade . He acquired the Schleibitz estate and received the Silesian Inkolat in 1790 and 1791, respectively .

family

Forcade married in 1782 the widow of Major General Karl von Podjursky , Wilhelmine von Koschembahr adH Ossen (1761-1816), daughter of Christian Leopold von Koschembahr and Charlotte Wilhelmine von Wutgenau (1727-1802). The marriage resulted in seven children. Three sons survived him, all of whom distinguished themselves in the Wars of Liberation .
