Heinz Pehlke
Heinz Pehlke (born October 8, 1922 in Berlin ; † March 12, 2002 there ) was a German cameraman.
Life
The son of the businessman Friedrich Wilhelm Pehlke and his wife Elisabeth born. During his apprenticeship at the School of Graphic Arts in Berlin, Knaack happened to come into contact with the shooting of Käutner's film Kitty and the world conference while on vacation : An initial enthusiasm for film work awoke in him.
At the age of 19 he was taken on as a trainee by Döring-Film-Werke at Lehrter Bahnhof in Berlin, and in 1944 by Ufa . He worked as a “focus assistant” on Veit Harlan's propaganda film Kolberg (1943/44) and in 1944 as Igor Oberberg 's camera assistant on Käutner's Unter den Brücken . From 1949 Pehlke worked as a freelance cameraman in German feature films. He also often worked for television.
Heinz Pehlke died in Berlin in March 2002 at the age of 79. His grave is in the state-owned cemetery Heerstraße in Berlin-Westend (grave location: 5-G-24/25).
