Henning Tögel

Henning Tögel (born December 14, 1954 in Stuttgart ; † January 9, 2013 ) worked as a German concert and tour organizer across Europe.

Life

Tögel graduated in business administration with a degree in business administration (BA) in 1977 and three years later acquired the management board qualification to manage a credit institute. From 1981 he devoted himself to a law degree, while at the same time teaching at various business academies. In 1984 Tögel founded the company Moderne Welt, in which he took over the management.

Moderne Welt is a member of the Federal Association of the Event Industry (IDKV) eV and is also involved in the IG Live Stuttgart, an association of regional concert organizers. Tögel was a regular participant in the annual International Live Music Conference (ILMC) and has been a lecturer at the Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences since 1999 . He was also on the board of the ECPA (European Concert Promoters Association). The entrepreneur was a panellist z. B. at Popkomm , ILMC and PopOpen Stuttgart.

On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Moderne Welt, the entrepreneur was interviewed for a multi-page special in the music market . In 2006 and 2009, Moderne Welt received the Live Entertainment Award (LEA) for the "Most Outstanding Non Music Event" (David Copperfield) and the "Cooperation of the Year" (IG Live Stuttgart).

The entrepreneur has been listed in the "Who is Who in the Federal Republic of Germany" personal encyclopedia for many years. As managing director of Moderne Welt, Tögel organized tours and individual concerts or shows with u. a. following artists:

Henning Tögel died unexpectedly of a heart attack on January 9, 2013.

In April 2009 the entrepreneur founded the legally recognized charitable talent foundation Henning Tögel. The purpose of the foundation is to promote talent in the fields of culture and art, sport and science.

As part of the international ARD music competition , Henning Tögel presented Angela Metzger with the special organ prize at the award ceremony on September 16, 2011 in Munich and on October 14, 2011 in the Black Forest Hall in Karlsruhe at the first semester welcome from KIT ( Karlsruhe Institute of Technology ) the special prize for the promotion of a scientific talent to Julia Bohnert.
