history

After the town of Brod Smilonis was founded, in the middle of the 13th century, a belt of individual farms belonging to the citizens of Broder was laid out in its soft patch at a distance of one to two kilometers. The farms were not managed by the citizens themselves, but by free leaseholders - the courtiers - who paid a steady lap for it. In contrast to the Bohemian courtyards , the courtiers were not enfeoffed by the land , they were in a hereditary emphyteutical relationship with the owners . One of these farms was Nyklperky ( Mendlova Ves ), which was later divided into the Riedl-Hof and Mendl-Hof.

In 1714 Ondřej Riedl divided his farmyard between his two sons. Pavel Riedl took over his father's farm; his brother Jiří initially worked as the third farmer in Nyklperky 15 lines . Later he built his own single- tier farm on the Šlapanka below Termeshöfen on the. After reversion the farmed Good Frauenthal the Riedl farm on their own than Grange.

In 1840 the single-layer Riedelhof , located in the Caslauer Kreis and conscripted according to Termeshöfen, consisted of the manorial Meierhof and 4 houses. The parish was Teutschbrod . Until the middle of the 19th century, Riedelhof remained subordinate to Gut Frauenthal and Termeshöfen.

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Herlify / Riedelhof 1849 a district of the municipality Termesivy / Termeshof in the judicial district Deutschbrod . From 1868 the place belonged to the district Deutschbrod . In 1869 Herlify had 30 residents and consisted of 7 houses. In 1900 and 1910, 30 people lived in Herlify. In 1930 Herlify had 32 residents and consisted of 6 houses. From 1938 the spur north of Herlify between the valleys of the Sázava and Šlapanka was cut through with a 623 m long tunnel for the new Brünn-Deutschbrod railway line . Because of the Second World War, the construction of the railway remained unfinished. After the bombing of the Fanto works in Pardubitz , the Dachs III project began in 1944 to build an underground refinery in the Deutschbroder tunnel. Several single-family houses were built in the second half of the 20th century. On April 30, 1976 - together with Termesivy - the incorporation to Havlíčkův Brod.
