Hexabromobenzene (C 6 Br 6 ) is an aromatic compound. The molecule as benzene constructed, except that all the hydrogen - atom by bromine -atoms were replaced. Like polybrominated biphenyls and polybrominated diphenyl ethers, it serves as a flame retardant .
