history

The name Hleďsebe translated means the prompt be careful! In the local dialect: Siehdichfür or also Sichdichfür, probably a result of warnings from the driver's language called at this point. This is an example of a German town founded in 1607, the Czech name of which was derived from a direct translation of the German place name.

In 1629, Siehdichfür appeared in the church registers as parish to Heiligenkreuz .

In 1656 Siehdich had 2 chalupners, a gardener, 3 cows and a pig for them. The Rebicer, Grundler and Mertzein families lived there.

In 1839 Siehdichfür had 11 houses and 83 inhabitants. The Heiligenkreuzer Schafhütte and the stately hunter's house belonged to Siehdichfür. In 1913 Siehdichfür had 10 houses, 97 residents, a sheep hut, a forester's house and two wastelands. Siehdichfür went to school in Wistersitz and parish in Heiligenkreuz.
