Horla is a district of the city of Sangerhausen in Saxony-Anhalt .

Horla is located northwest of Sangerhausen on the road to the Auerberg .

It was first mentioned in a document in 1311.

Until 2005 Horla was a politically independent municipality. On October 1, 2005, it was incorporated into the city of Sangerhausen.

Sandra Biedermann is the local mayor for the period from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2024.
