Lengefeld is a district of Sangerhausen in Saxony-Anhalt .
geography
Lengefeld, a typical clustered village , is located north of Sangerhausen in the Harz foreland . The smaller Meuserlengefeld to the west also belongs to the village of Lengefeld.
history
In a register of the tithe of the Hersfeld monastery , which was created between 881 and 899, Lengefeld is mentioned for the first time in a document as the place of Langunfeld im Friesenfeld, which is subject to a tenancy requirement .
Until 2005 Lengefeld was a politically independent municipality. On October 1, 2005, Lengefeld was incorporated into Sangerhausen together with Meuserlengefeld.

Transport links
The K 2306 runs through the center as a connection between Wettelrode and Großleinungen and also goes through the towns of Meuserlengefeld, Kleinleinungen, Drebsdorf and Wickerode to Bennungen. In Roßla you reach the slip road to the A38. South of the village is the federal road 80 , Sangerhausen to Hettstedt . The A 38 motorway, which runs from Halle (Saale) to Göttingen , is located south of Lengefeld.
