Hrvatska revija (Croatian Review) is a four times a year Croatian- language literary magazine published by Matica hrvatska .

Revue was initiated by Filip Lukas from Matica Hrvatska in 1928. In the interwar period , the magazine brought together a wide range of writers and artists of diverse political and aesthetic beliefs. Articles by the writers Vladimir Nazor , August Cesarec , Miroslav Krleža , Milan Begović , Ivan Goran Kovačić , Milan Šufflay , Mile Budak , Gustav Krklec , Tin Ujević , Dragutin Tadijanović have been published. The editorial concept is characterized by a variety of genres ( novels , short stories , dramas , poems , essays and criticism ). Representative art equipment (Vladimir Kirin) with reproductions by Josip Račić , Miroslav Kraljević , Vladimir Becić and many others is also published.

After the magazine was dissolved in May 1945, Revue was rebuilt in Buenos Aires in 1951 by Croatian intellectuals Vinko Nikolić and Antun Bonifačić . Until 1990, the Croatian Review collected emigrants from Croatia's political emigration to Europe and the world. The magazine was first published in Buenos Aires (1951-1966), then in Paris (1966-67), Munich (1967-1978) and Barcelona (1978-1991). In addition to literary, visual, musical, theatrical and linguistic contributions, she published memoirs and travel prose, socio-political and historiographical articles, essays and reviews . In the 40 years of his emigration, the Croatian Review was printed on around 28,000 pages, and during this time 627 collaborators appeared, including with Rajmund Kupareo , Franjo Tuđman , Franjo Kuharić , Ante Ciliga, Ivan Meštrović , 113 of them under a pseudonym because of the political pressure and persecution were published.

After the founding of the Republic of Croatia , Revue continued to be published in Zagreb as a magazine of Matica hrvatska.
