Act

Luschka was one of the most renowned anatomists of the 19th century. He researched almost all areas of the human body and published numerous scientific papers. From 1862 to 1869 Hubert von Luschka published a very elaborate human anatomy with numerous woodcuts at H. Laupp'schen Buchhandlung in Heidelberg, taking into account the needs of practical medicine.

Some anatomical structures still bear his name today, e.g. B. a drain of a brain chamber and the Luschka'sche passage . Luschka first described polyposis of the colon .
