Iñaki Gastón Crespo (born May 25, 1963 in Bilbao , Autonomous Community of the Basque Country ) is a former Spanish cyclist . He was a professional from 1984 to 1994.

Career

At the Giro d'Italia in 1991 he finished 23rd and also won the mountain classification. In the same year, he completed all three major tours.

During his time at CLAS-Cajastur he was one of the most valuable helpers for Tony Rominger in the mountains, for example at the Vuelta a España in 1993 , when he met Tony Rominger on the 19th stage on the descent from the La Cobertoria Pass followed and helped him get time out of runner-up Alex Zülle .
