The tour of the Indian national cricket team to the West Indies in the 1961/62 season took place from February 16 to April 18, 1962. The international cricket tour was part of the 1961/62 international cricket season and comprised five tests . The West Indies won the series 5-0.

prehistory

India previously played a tour against England, for the West Indies it was the first tour of the season. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in India in the 1958/59 season .
