The 1992/93 season was the 19th season of the I-divisioona , the second highest Finnish ice hockey division . The league championship was won by JoKP Joensuu . KooKoo , TuTo Hockey and JoKP Joensuu also qualified for the SM liiga relegation , in which all three teams failed. Vantaa HT and Centers Pietarsaari went down sportily, the HJK Helsinki due to the cessation of gaming operations in the third-class II division.
