IC 1129 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sc in the constellation Ursa Minor at the northern sky . It is estimated to be 300 million light years from the Milky Way and about 95,000 ly in diameter.
The object was discovered by Edward D. Swift on July 13, 1887 .
