IC 1152 is an elliptical galaxy from the Hubble type E0 in the constellation Hercules at the northern sky . It is estimated to be 270 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 95,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky is the galaxy IC 1153 .
The object was discovered by Lewis Swift on July 4, 1888 .
