action

The attractive young writer Jennifer Hills moves to a remote forest house in Louisiana to write her second novel. On the way there she stops at a gas station, where she briefly talks to primitive backwoodsmen around Johnny Miller. After she drove on, they hang out together, drink beer and pursue their fantasies about the beautiful young woman. They refer to them as city sluts or city whores .

During the night, Johnny and his friends Stanley, Andy, and Matthew break into the house and begin tormenting and humiliating them. To escape an impending rape , she sprays pepper spray in the face of one of the men and runs in panic into the forest. When it got light, she met Earl and Sheriff Storch in the woods. The latter offers her help and drives her back to the house on the pretext of searching it. He finds marijuana and a lot of alcohol, which he takes as an opportunity to call "reinforcement". Then Johnny and his friends reappear. She is raped by everyone, whatever Stanley records with his camera. Jennifer faints at some point. When she comes to, she gets up naked and traumatized and stumbles disoriented through the forest. Storch and the others watch with amusement how far she is going. When Storch finally wants to shoot her, Jennifer drops from a bridge into the river. Not knowing whether she is alive or not, they search the banks over the next few weeks to destroy the evidence. Your search remains unsuccessful. Sheriff Storch, who has a pregnant wife and a daughter at home, first destroys the film from the video camera. He tells the other men to burn anything that might indicate the woman's presence. Then all men return to their usual life.

After a month, small clues emerge from the perpetrators, suggesting that Jennifer is still alive. The affable old Earl has no idea about the crime, yet he may inadvertently point out the crime to the authorities or the public. Therefore, Sheriff Storch murders him in cold blood. Jennifer first sends Storch the video of her rape (she secretly stole it from Stanley) and then begins her merciless vendetta. She first captures the mentally retarded Matthew, and then it's Andy and Stanley's turn. While the latter is tied and the eyes are pecked out by crows, Andy has to put his face in an alkaline solution until he dies. Johnny is brutally tortured and bled to death after emasculating him with a hedge trimmer. Next, she kidnaps the sheriff's daughter, posing as her new teacher. Finally, she kidnaps Sheriff Storch, whom she penetrates with a loaded shotgun. Hills does not comment on the whereabouts of the daughter the sheriff was looking for. The shotgun is connected to the arm of the sleeping Matthew via a mechanism, who inadvertently triggers the rifle when he wakes up and kills the sheriff as well as himself. When Jennifer hears the shot, she smiles.
