The Ichterloh nature reserve is located on the territory of the communities of Ascheberg and Nordkirchen in the Coesfeld district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The approximately 217 hectare area, which was placed under nature protection in 1991 , extends between the core town of Ascheberg in the northeast and the core town of Nordkirchen in the southwest. East of the area extends the A 1 and south the country road L 671. North flows Teufelsbach .
