The nature reserve forest area Hengwehr and Hanloer Mark is located in the municipality of Nottuln in the district of Coesfeld in North Rhine-Westphalia .
The 173.1 hectare area, which was placed under nature protection in 2003 , extends northwest of the core town of Nottuln on the state road L 577, which passes on the eastern edge. Not far to the south is the B 525 .
