criticism

Rainer Tittelbach from tittelbach.tv found the crime story to be “not a highlight of the humorous crime series.” Although a monastery offers a “setting that is good for the dramaturgical (in) logic of such a winking crime series,” the “ Fine adjustment between crime thriller and comedy [...] [for the most part] leaves a lot to be desired. ”Overall, only an“ average entertaining ”Wilsberg.

In Stimme.de Katharina Raab evaluated: "A little confused sometimes it goes in, On behalf of the Rosi 'to. Because not only the ways of the Lord, but also Wilsberg's investigations sometimes seem to be unfathomable. The grueling mistakes in the house of God are always entertaining. An almost cheerful crime thriller that wants to be more of a comedy than the most serious perpetrator hunt. "

Quota meter considers this Wilsberg episode to be “not very successful. [...] Let's just hope that the current case of Georg Wilsberg & Co. remains just one slip of the line. "

The TV Spielfilm editorial team gave the crime thriller a “thumbs to the side” and said: “With 'Wilsberg', coincidences are part of the story. But this time the pitch is wrong, the snoop torments us with clerical puns, and the gruff Inspector Overbeck (Roland Jankovsky) is also uncomfortable. "Conclusion:" A bit clumsy, very free after Umberto Ekki ... "
