Immanuel Clinic Bernau

The Immanuel Hospital Bernau Brandenburg Heart Center in the town of Bernau is one of three university hospitals of the Medical University of Brandenburg .

The Bernau Hospital was opened in 1910 outside of the then city. It initially had 60 beds. In 1995 the hospital was taken over by the Evangelical Free Church Community Berlin-Schöneberg, the Immanuel Diakonie .

From 1992 to 1998 a new building was built and the Berlin-Buch Heart Center was integrated. The heart center is both regional and national, while the rest of the hospital provides basic care .
