Interclubs 2013/14

The Interclubs 2013/14 was the Belgian team championship in chess.

Master was KSK Eynatten 47 , while defending himself Schachfreunde Wirtzfeld had to settle for fifth place. Cercle Royal des Echecs de Liège et Echiquier Liègeois and Koninklijke Brugse Schaakkring were promoted from Division 2 in the previous year . Both newly promoted players achieved relegation, while Chess Club Anderlecht and Koninklijke Deurne SK had to relegate.

Game dates

The competitions were played on September 22 and 29, October 13, November 17, December 1 and 15, 2013, January 12 and 26, February 9 and 23, and March 23, 2014. The last round was organized centrally, the others took place decentrally at the clubs involved.

mode

The twelve participating teams played a simple round-robin tournament . The number of team points (two points for a team win, one point for a draw, no point for a defeat) and then the number of board points (three points for a win, two points for a draw, one point for one loss, no point for a loss without a fight).
