action
OW Grant is often up to mischief on Interstate 60 . He grants the people he meets a wish, but not always in the way that the person making the wish hoped. OW Grant finally becomes aware of Neal Oliver on his 22nd birthday and is impressed by his wish - an answer for his life - and intends to grant Neal this wish. Neal Oliver drops a bucket on his head after his birthday dinner and wakes up in a hospital. Then his eyes are opened first so that he can also see unusual things and no longer allow himself to be forced by predetermined experiences.
Since then, he's been open to other options that weren't available to him before, and a contract to deliver a package has made him drive to Danver via Interstate 60 - which cannot be found on any map. He believes that he will meet his great love in Danver and is therefore highly motivated. He experiences different adventures in different cities, which are influenced by his decisions. At the beginning, a Magic 8 ball influences his decisions until he has met his great love, which of course does not wait for him in Danver, but warns him not to go to Danver.
Oliver is now faced with the decision to fulfill the assignment or to keep his great love. He would like to change his first decision retrospectively, but is increasingly pushed into a hopeless situation in which he has to decide in one direction or the other. At this point he is reminded of his father and decides not to take any of the directions given. This decision changes and thus saves his life, because at that moment he separates himself from the “omniscient sphere” and brings the assignment to an end.
Through these experiences, Neal Oliver's character was shaped more and more and he wakes up again in the hospital at the same time as he woke up for the first time. Even if everything that he had experienced in the last few days appeared to him only as a dream, there are constant small indications that he had not dreamed. After the hospital, he takes his life into his own hands and decides not to fulfill his father's instructions. Finally, a dream also comes true for him and he finds his great love.

Individual evidence
- ↑ The Interstate 60 is not on any map. The English verb “to grant” means “to grant” or here “to fulfill”, the initials “OW” stand for “one wish”, which OW Grant fulfills to those he chooses.
