The Iowa Highway 92 is the state of Iowa in the United States completely swept from west to east State Road . Iowa Highway 92 is part of a chain of consecutive state routes with the same number that runs from Wyoming through Nebraska and Iowa to Illinois . Iowa Highway 92 is 442 km long and runs from Council Bluffs on the Missouri River on the western Iowa-Nebraska border to Muscatine on the Mississippi River , which forms the border between Iowa and Illinois.

Iowa Highway 92 begins on the South Omaha Veterans Memorial Bridge from Omaha , Nebraska to Council Bluffs, Iowa. US Highway 275 runs over the bridge together with Nebraska Highway 92 and Iowa Highway 92, which begins at the state border in the middle of the river.

Iowa Highway 92 now runs along with US Highway 275 on the southern outskirts of Council Bluffs and then crosses Interstate 29 . Then US Highway 275 turns southeast and Iowa Highway 92 now continues east. East of Carson is US Highway 59 crosses under. Iowa intersects Highway 48 in downtown Griswold . Further east carried a staggered junction with US Highway 71 before at Massena of Iowa Highway 148 crosses.

On the western edge of central Greenfield is an intersection with Iowa Highway 25 . In the winter set further east, Iowa Highway 92 meets US Highway 169 on the northwest bypass and continues in a straight line to the east. Later intersects Interstate 29 , while shortly afterwards the Iowa Highway 28 joins and thus reaches its southern end point.

In Indianola , 29 km south of Des Moines , the US Highways 65 and 69 , which run on the same route, cross . South of Pleasantville comes from the northwest coming from the northwest Iowa Highway 5 and Knoxville runs with the Iowa Highway 92 on a common route. Iowa Highway 14 crosses south of Knoxville before Iowa Highway 5 leaves the common route to the southeast.

Further east of Iowa Highway 92 crosses the Des Moines River , before moving to Oskaloosa on the US Highway 63 and Iowa Highway 23 and 163 hits. Iowa Highway 21 crosses north of the Delta and a few kilometers further east of Sigourney is the offset intersection of Iowa Highway 149 .

Northwest of Washington , Iowa Highway 92 meets Iowa Highway 1 and separates from it on the western outskirts of the city. Iowa Highway 92 now runs across the city as Madison Street and Washington Street from west to east.

East of Ainsworth , the Iowa Highway 92 passes under the Iowa Highway 27 , also called Avenue of the Saints , which runs on a joint route with US Highway 218 . After Columbus Junction , where Iowa Highway 70 crosses, Iowa Highway 92 crosses the Cedar River and heads east towards Grandview .

West of Grandview the Iowa Highway 92 joins the US Highway 61 and leads together with this first in a northerly, then in a northeast direction to Muscatine . In the city center, Iowa Highways 22 and 38 meet US Highway 61 and Iowa Highway 92, before it leaves the State of Iowa over the Norbert F. Beckey Bridge over the Mississippi River and meets Illinois State Route 92 on the bridge .
