Iulian Tameş (born December 6, 1978 in Mizil , Prahova County ) is a Romanian football player . The midfielder has been under contract with SCM Argeşul Piteşti in Liga III since the summer of 2013 .
Career
Tameş began his career in the youth of Dinamo Bucharest , where he joined the first team in 1997. He was awarded to AS Rocar Bucharest shortly afterwards and a year later to ARO Câmpulung , from where he returned to Dinamo in 2000. In four years with the traditional Romanian club, he was twice Romanian champion ( 2002 , 2004 ) and three times cup winner ( 2001 , 2003 , 2004 ).
In January 2005 he moved to Russia to Alania Wladikawkas , where he only played three games before returning to Romania.
At Național Bucharest , Tameş was under contract for six months, after which he returned to his regular club Dinamo. At the beginning of the 2007/08 season he moved to FC Argeş Piteşti . Even after two relegations, the FC Argeș remained loyal. He has been under contract with FC Timișoara since summer 2010 . He ended the 2010/11 season with his new club as runner-up behind Oțelul Galați . Subsequently, his club was denied admission to the 2011/12 season and he had to compete in League II. In January 2012, Tameş returned to Dinamo Bucharest. After only half a year he was drawn to league rivals FC Brașov . From January 2013 he was without a club for half a year. In August 2013, third division SCM Argeșul Pitești took him under contract.

Internationally, the midfielder has played five times for Romania so far .
