Izabela Vidovic ( Croatian : Izabela Vidović ; born May 28, 2001 in Chicago , Illinois ) is an American actress and singer .

Life

Izabela Vidovic is the daughter of Croatian parents who emigrated from the former Yugoslavia . Her father is the film producer Mario Vidović, her mother the actress, writer, screenwriter and director Elizabeta Vidović (née Bašić). In addition to English, she speaks and writes Croatian as her mother tongue. At the age of seven she started her acting career with stage performances of Mary Poppins , Camp Rock and Annie . Since 2011 she can be seen in various television series; later roles in television and movies followed. In 2013 she was to take on the lead role of Little Rock in the Amazon television series Zombieland , which was planned as a sequel to the movie of the same name . However, only one pilot episode was produced and published on Amazon Instant Video . Also in 2013, she starred alongside Jason Statham in the action thriller Homefront . 2017 she played a starring role alongside Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson in the drama miracles of Stephen Chbosky .

From 2014 to 2015 she had a recurring supporting role in the comedy series About a Boy and since 2015 in the drama series The Fosters .
