The Pensacola metropolitan area (English: Pensacola-Ferry Pass-Brent Metropolitan Statistical Area ) is a metropolitan area in the extreme northwest of the US state Florida . It represents a Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) defined by the Office of Management and Budget and includes the Counties Escambia and Santa Rosa . The largest settlements in the urban agglomeration are Pensacola , Navarre , Ferry Pass , Belleview and Brent .

At the time of the 2010 census , the area had 448,991 residents.
