Brent is directly adjacent to the city of Pensacola . Interstates 10 and 110 , US Highway 29 and Florida State Roads 292 , 295 , 296 and 742 cross or touch the CDP .
Brent is part of the Pensacola-Ferry Pass-Brent Metropolitan Statistical Area .
Demographic data
According to the 2010 census, the 21,804 inhabitants at that time were distributed over 8,074 households. The population density was 807.6 inh / km². 51.7% of the population identified themselves as whites, 39.1% as African American , 0.8% as Indians and 3.8% as Asian Americans . 1.5% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 3.2% to several ethnic groups. 4.2% of the population was made up of Hispanics or Latinos .
