Bellview is a census-designated place (CDP) in Escambia County in the US state of Florida with 23,355 inhabitants (as of 2010).
geography
Bellview is about 5 km west of Pensacola and on the east bank of the Perdido River , just before it flows into the Gulf of Mexico . The CDP is crossed by US Highway 90 ( SR 10A ) and Florida State Roads 173 and 296 .
Bellview is part of the Pensacola metropolitan area .
Demographic data
According to the 2010 census, the then 23,355 inhabitants were distributed over 10,022 households. The population density was 763.2 inh / km². 71.0% of the population identified themselves as whites, 18.3% as African American , 0.8% as Native American and 4.4% as Asian Americans . 1.2% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 4.2% to several ethnic groups. 4.4% of the population was made up of Hispanics or Latinos .
