Jörg Rohde (born March 19, 1984 in Fritzlar ) is a German actor .

Life

Rohde grew up in Fritzlar in northern Hesse and attended the Fritzlar Ursuline School , where he graduated from secondary school. After graduating from the Reichspräsident-Friedrich-Ebert-Schule in Fritzlar, he first went to the Bundeswehr . However, he had to break off the pilot training he had started there after two years for health reasons.

From 2004 to 2008 he completed an acting training at the drama school in Kassel. From 2005 to 2006 he also took lessons from Oscar Ortega Sánchez , with whom he specially prepared for film roles.

2006 Rohde played in the short film flying and falling of Daniel Stieglitz , of the Audience Award at the Film Festival Oldenburg was excellent. The film also received the rating “Valuable” from the Wiesbaden film evaluation agency .

From 2008 to 2009 Rohde had a permanent engagement as a theater actor at the Junge Theater Göttingen . In Göttingen he appeared as Erich Spitta in The Rats by Gerhart Hauptmann , as Kasimir in Kasimir and Karoline von Ödön von Horváth and as Scipio in Caligula by Albert Camus . He also played in 2008 the role of Sven in the play favorite people by Laura de Weck .

Since November 2009, Rohde as Ben Steinkamp in a leading role in the RTL - soap opera All that matters to see. After Jan Niklas Berg, Rohde is the second actor in the film role Ben Steinkamp . Rohde plays Richard Steinkamp , the illegitimate son of the film role , who returns to Essen after studying art in Milan and gets a job as a designer in his father's company.

For the 2009/10 season, Rohde was also originally engaged as a member of the ensemble at the Göttingen Young Theater. Since he did not appear at the beginning of the rehearsal due to his RTL filming, according to a statement by the artistic director of the Göttingen Young Theater, the contract was canceled.

In the spring of 2011, Rohde participated as a model in the anti-hunting campaign "Freedom instead of fair game" by the animal welfare organization PETA .

In January 2017 Rohde was seen in the ZDF series Heldt in an episode role as pimp Kevin Kruppka.
