Jewish cemetery (Kelz)
The Jewish cemetery is located on Michaelstrasse at the northern entrance to Kelz , a district of Vettweiß in the Düren district ( North Rhine-Westphalia ). It is located directly on Landesstraße 264. The Jewish cemetery is a protected architectural monument .
It is no longer possible to trace the period in which the cemetery was occupied. The oldest of the seven remaining tombstones ( Mazewot ) dates from 1873. The cemetery is enclosed by a hedge with a gate. The tombstones are to the right of the entrance in two rows on a lawn. Only the base of one grave remains.
