Jewish cemetery (Langweiler)
The Jewish cemetery was located on the Wardener Gracht in Langweiler , an abandoned part of the municipality of Aldenhoven in the Düren district ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).
At the end of the 1960s, Langweiler had to give way to lignite mining in the Inden opencast mine . The cemetery was occupied from 1871 to the first half of the 20th century. The 22 tombstones ( Mazewot ) were brought to the new Jewish cemetery in Düren . They are standing there by the southern wall of the cemetery.
