Jewish cemetery (Kettenheim)
The Jewish cemetery is located in the field markings near Kettenheim , a hamlet near Vettweiß in the Düren district ( North Rhine-Westphalia ). The Jewish cemetery is a protected architectural monument .
The cemetery is located under large weeping ash trees in the middle of the extensive arable land of the Zülpicher Börde, right next to the tracks of the Bördebahn . The graves are laid out in five rows.
The cemetery was occupied by the Jewish community of Vettweiß from 1860 to 1934. There are still 25 tombstones ( mazewot ).
