Jürgen Völkert-Marten (born May 23, 1949 in Gelsenkirchen ) is a German writer .

life and work

Jürgen Völkert-Marten made his debut in 1974 with the volume of poetry No time for dreamers . When Hans Otfried Dittmer brought together a number of people known in the alternative scene at the time, such as Wolfgang Fienhold and Volker Zotz , and was able to win them over for his publishing edition Dittmer , Jürgen Völkert-Marten also belonged to the group of authors.

Martens primarily writes poetry , the laconic conciseness of which he has demonstrated in numerous individual titles, but also radio plays , prose and texts for children. He makes collages and deals with mail art .
