Jürgmeier , bourgeois Jürg Meier (born December 11, 1951 in Adliswil in the canton of Zurich ) is a Swiss publicist and writer .

Life

After studying psychology and sociology, Jürgmeier worked as a journalist for various newspapers (including: Tages-Anzeiger , Weltwoche , WOZ ) and for ten years as an editor / presenter at Radio DRS . He also works as a speaker, lecturer and discussion leader on socio-political issues such as men's issues, racism, health policy, etc. As a writer, in addition to the works listed below, he has also contributed to anthologies and texts in brochures and exhibition catalogs. From 1998 to 2014 he was a general education teacher and at times head of general education and health promotion at a vocational school. From 2014 to 2018 he was a member of the editorial board of Infosperber .

Jürgmeier completed a postgraduate degree with a Master of Advanced Studies in Cultural / Gender Studies at the Zurich University of Art and Design in 2006 .
